Research notes
A pre-launch report (Yahoo, citing an Instagram account) predicted October 15, 2025; the confirmed date was October 21. Tasting Table lists a yellow bucket, but the other sources list black and red; the colors here follow Food Network. 2026: as of 2026-10-02, no McDonald's announcement or credible news report for 2026 Boo Buckets was found. A July 2026 fan-site item described an unverified leak (possibly fan-made images), and SEO blogs repeat 2023's lineup with an 'October 17, 2026' date without citing any official source, so no 2026 entry is included.
