Research notes

Start date conflict: the 2022 and 2023 releases say Boo! Books have supported the Foundation 'for more than 15 years', which points to about 2007. The 2015 release calls 2015 the 'second nationwide' Halloween Coupon Books fundraiser. The two can both be true if earlier runs were regional, but no pre-2014 edition has a source. Earlier editions in 2016-2021 surely exist but are not listed because they weren't individually sourced. The share per book that goes to charity rose from 85 cents (2015, 2022) to 90 cents (2024 on). Fundraising totals: $3.6M (2014), $5.8M (2021).
